The Delray Beach Surgery Center iscurrently comprised ofdoctors from thespecialties ofOphthalmology (both cataract and retina),Orthopedics (general, hand and foot and ankle), Spine (cervical and lumber discectomy, arthroplasty and fusions, as applicable), Podiatry, ENT, Gastroenterology, andCosmetic. Reporting directly to the Clinical Directorof the Center, this highly visible, salaried hands-on SINGLE PERSON Materiels Management position has total operations responsibility for Centers materials management processes,which include: Purchasing / vendor negotiations (assuring lowest possible prices being paid for medical/surgical supplies, implants, pharmacy, equipment and instrumentation Ordering, receiving and stocking, to include assuring that the invoices being paid match the purchase orders and associated "coding" of invoices into respective G/L accounts in accounting system inventory processes and controls, to include establishing and maintaining "real time" inventory and associated "par levels" Tracking usage and capturing charges for implants, high cost supplies, maintenance of bone bank, monitoring service contracts for clinical and facility maintenance Linen control Serving as Safety Office
